LANVIN HEART H&M...WHAT I BOUGHT!

So after the long wait for the collection to be released we all rushed to the few H&M stores selling Lanvin or set our alarms for 6.45am to buy online. I did the latter and to my despair i had no success in logging into my online account all i got was 'server too busy', and when i finally got to log in and buy what few pieces were left i was greeted by 'unknown error'. So, i rang up my sister who was also desperately trying to buy online and persuaded her to quickly drive into London (which takes about hour in rush hour) and go to the H&M store in Brent Cross. Luckily she got there at 9am which is when the store opened and the que wasn't too long and she managed to grab me a few of the pieces that we both wanted! Here are a few pictures of my shoes and the other things i bought!

 This dress which i love... the print is amazing! and the design is so cool the zip goes all the way up the side to create a sleeve puff at the top!

 and finally this grey prom dress! i just hope i have somewhere to wear it now!

LOVELY LOVELY VINTAGE IN BATH

So as some of you may know, i have always loved vintage and retro clothing as i've been brought up surrounded by it as my mother is a antique and vintage clothing collector and dealer! It certainly does have its advantages, i get first dibs on everything she buys before it goes in her vintage shop in Henley!
Anyway, a few weeks ago i went out in search of some lovely retro buys in Bath and went to a market in town which is every Saturday, a vintage shop and i also went to 'the vintage bazaar' in Frome just outside of Bath. I didn't end up buying any clothing but i got a gorgeous antique biscuit tin which has a winter scene of ice-skaters all over it and i cant resist anything with ice-skaters on! I'm going to make it into my thread tin!  Here are a few pictures of some fantastic vintage!

 A real leopard fur vintage coat! Ive never seen real leopard fur before, totally beautiful but to be kept on the animal!

BURBERRY AND BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL COMPETITION

Soooo, recently I've been working on a design competition for Burberry in association with the British Fashion Council.

This was the brief:
"USING THE OFFICIAL WAR ARTIST ‘WILLIAM ORPEN’ AS THE STARTING REFERENCE POINT, DESIGN A COLLECTION OF COATS OR BAGS.
THE AMOUNT OF LOOKS IS UP TO YOU. YOUR DESIGNS CAN BE FOR WOMENSWEAR OR
MENWEAR."

FINALLY! LANVIN FOR H&M...

Oh wow its what I've been waiting for and I'm sure you all have too! A full preview of Lanvin's collection for H&M in totally stylish and chic video. I love so much of it and i will definitely be buying quite a few pieces on the 23rd November!
Prices range from £7.99 for a lipstick to £199 for a silk satin evening coat, while most of the cocktail dresses are £99. It's all very very exciting and here it is....
